MISSION 1 PRO ILS is compatible with a wide variety of manual focus and manual aperture Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lenses, giving you the freedom to pair your camera with the ideal lens for any scenario or use an adapter to attach vintage lenses, PL mount cinema lenses or other specialty lenses. Harness shallow depth of field, smooth focus transitions and selective focus for visuals that pull viewers in, guide their attention and tell your story with cinematic flair.

Made for easier professional rigging, MISSION 1 PRO ILS changes the game for complex shots. Weighing in at only 197g with a small footprint, it lets you mount a lensed camera in tight spaces, like inside a car, with simpler, smaller rigging. 1” Sensor + Advanced Low-Light Performance

MISSION 1 PRO ILS utilizes a 1” sensor (1.0-type sensor) that captures more light and detail to deliver pro-quality results in a compact camera. Take advantage of the sensor’s 50MP when shooting in 8K, or leverage the Quad Bayer 12MP mode in 4K for even better low-light performance.

Over 3 Hours of 4K Runtime + Faster Charging

The all-new 2150mAh Enduro 2 battery for MISSION 1 Series cameras gives you longer runtimes than any other GoPro battery in all conditions. You’ll get over 3 hours of continuous 4K30 recording and over 5 hours of 1080p30 recording on a single charge. It’s also capable of rapid charging so there’s less downtime and more production time. You can also use Enduro for HERO13 Black batteries as spares.

Focus Assist + Focus Peaking

Make sure that your shot is perfect. Focus Assist lets you magnify your shot up to 8x on the rear touch screen to verify the focus. Focus Peaking uses contrasting color overlays to highlight the parts of your shot that are in focus. To check your shot on a larger screen, connect MISSION 1 PRO ILS to an iPhone or iPad with the MISSION Monitor app, use a USB-C to HDMI adapter6 to connect to the monitor of your choice or use the micro HDMI output on the Media Mod for MISSION 1 Series cameras.

Our Slowest Slo-Mo Ever

MISSION 1 PRO ILS can capture 4K video at an incredible 240 frames per second that lets you slow down the action and catch every detail of your footage in 8x slow motion. Slow it down even more with 1080p footage at 480 fps for 16x slo-mo. Switch to Burst Slo-Mo for our slowest slo-mo ever and record 10-second 1080p video clips at 960 fps for 32x slo-mo.

HLG HDR Video

MISSION 1 PRO ILS lets you enhance its best-in-class image quality with Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), a standard HDR format that captures video in the 10-bit and Rec. 2100 color space for playback with compatible displays and media players.

High Bit Rate

MISSION 1 PRO ILS gives you the option to capture video up to a high 240Mbps bit rate when your project demands the most detailed and precise imaging possible. You can also use standard bit rate to minimize file sizes.

10-Bit Color + Log Encoding

Choose between standard video at 10-bit or Log encoding at 10-bit with GP-Log2. Capable of displaying over 1 billion colors, 10-bit color delivers enhanced color depth, smoother gradations and more realism in your videos. You also have the option of GP-Log2 to retain more details in highlights and shadows while making necessary image corrections in post-production (a lookup table/LUT is provided).

Timecode Sync

Creators with more than one compatible GoPro can sync them with the exact same timecode to make multi-camera editing a lot easier. It works with Final Cut Pro®, Adobe® Premiere® and other editing software to further streamline post-production.

50MP Photos + 44MP Frame Grabs

MISSION 1 PRO ILS takes up to 50MP photos in Single, Interval and Burst modes while its 1” sensor boosts night and low-light performance. You can also grab stunning photos up to 44MP from 4:3 8K videos using the GoPro Quik app or the non-linear editing software of your choice.

4K Zoom

Zoom in to 2x to get the shot while maintaining the quality and precision of 4K video resolution. Or get even closer to the action without repositioning yourself or your gear with 4x digital zoom.

Night Effects

MISSION 1 PRO ILS features 3 Night Effects modes that let you get creative after dark. Star Trails uses the Earth’s rotation and stars to capture beautiful light trails across the night sky. Light Painting lets you create brilliant brushstroke effects with moving light. Vehicle Light Trails uses night-time traffic to record stunning light trail shots.

Customizable Modes + Interface

MISSION 1 PRO ILS can be set up exactly how you want it. Add, reorder or hide mode settings to make using your camera as efficient as possible for your production needs. You can also create custom modes to instantly load up your favorite settings for a particular shot whenever you need them.

4-Microphone Array + Audio Tuning

MISSION 1 PRO ILS uses 4 microphones for pro-quality stereo recording and wind noise reduction while Audio Tuning lets you adjust sound recording to better fit what you’re capturing. Choose balanced, true-to-life sound that’s great for most shots or the Voice setting that enhances vocal clarity while also preserving ambient background sounds.

32-Bit Float Audio

MISSION 1 PRO ILS lets you record 32-bit float audio to a separate .wav file for more post-production flexibility and extended dynamic range that virtually eliminates digital clipping. Whether you’re in a quiet setting or crowded street, you’ll get crisp, clear audio without distortion. You also have the option of recording the fully processed MP4 audio as a 24-bit .wav without lossy AAC compression.

Bluetooth® 5.3 Audio Connectivity

Bluetooth® audio lets you wirelessly connect MISSION 1 PRO ILS to wireless earbuds and microphones using the latest Hands-Free Profile (HFP) v1.9 with Super Wideband Speech (SWB) standard. Use a wireless mic for enhanced audio when narrating a scene or conducting interviews. Or connect to the wireless earbuds that you already use so your GoPro will be able to hear your voice commands in noisy settings or when it’s mounted out of earshot.

USB-C Audio Support

Simply plug an external USB-C microphone into the MISSION 1 PRO ILS USB-C port for an easy plug-and-play way to add a separate mic to your gear setup. You can also use a USB-C adapter6 to connect a 3.5mm microphone or plug in a headphone for audio playback.

Multi-Track Recording + Manual Audio Controls

Native multi-track recording capabilities seamlessly integrate the audio from all connected devices to streamline editing. With professional-grade audio controls such as Automatic Gain Control (AGC), manual Gain and Limiting, you can fine-tune recording levels to ensure clean, consistent audio in any environment.

Media Mod Performance + Expandability

Customize your MISSION 1 PRO ILS with an integrated multi-pattern mic array that can be used to capture both mono and stereo audio. Beamforming technology lets you switch between polar patterns to choose the directionality and field of capture for more recording and vlogging versatility. Media Mod also features a 3.5mm input for an external microphone, 3.5mm input for line-level signals and timecode input, 3.5mm output for headphone monitoring and 2 cold-shoe mounts for near limitless expansion, plus a micro HDMI output that supports 4K preview and playback.

USB-C to HDMI Output

Set up a rig where you can see a live feed from your camera or check the footage you just shot on a larger screen during production. Simply connect your camera to a TV or monitor using a USB-C to HDMI cable/adapter.

Mounting Flexibility

MISSION 1 PRO ILS features 3 versatile mounting options for maximum flexibility when setting up your shot. Built-in mounting fingers securely attach your camera to GoPro mounts. Convenient 1/4-20 mounting threads can be used with standard camera accessories. Magnetic Latch Mount6 compatibility makes it fast and easy to swap your camera from one mounting setup to another without taking up valuable production time.

Custom Capture Setups

GoPro has a wide variety of high-performance mounts and accessories for creating your own custom capture rigs. Premium gear including extension poles and adjustable mounting buckles let you create ultra-lightweight, stable platforms to capture vehiclemounted shots, follow-cam footage or any other shot you need. You can also use the Point-and-Shoot Grip6 for MISSION 1 Series cameras to transform your MISSION 1 PRO ILS into a classic handheld camera.

GPS + Performance Stickers

GPS automatically captures telemetry data that tags your footage with its geolocation and other metadata. This allows you to add overlays as animated graphics on your video using the GoPro Quik app. It’s a visually engaging way to show the speed, path, terrain, altitude and g-forces in your footage.

Faster Transferring + Unlimited Cloud Backup

MISSION 1 PRO ILS uses Wi-Fi 6 technology for faster, more reliable auto-uploading to the cloud with unlimited storage. Simply plug in your camera when connected to your home Wi-Fi and the camera does the rest. You can also transfer to your phone wirelessly, use a USB connection or transfer to a computer with your SD card.

Live Streaming

Use MISSION 1 PRO ILS to live stream your next activity as you vlog with buttery-smooth HyperSmooth video stabilization and sharp resolution. Live stream is supported in 1080p or 720p for platforms such as YouTube, Facebook or Twitch, and via RTMP using the GoPro Quik app.
